Freemasons working together to help the local community

Freemasons throughout the country are doing all they can to help in the fight against the coronavirus.

We have seen remarkable stories from across the country of how our members are coming together. From helping to raise vital funds for the NHS and delivering food to the community. Additionally, purchasing ambulances and manufacturing vital personal protective equipment (PPE). To support Freemasonry’s charitable response to the coronavirus pandemic, UGLE and the Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF), the Freemasons’ charity, established the Freemasons’ COVID-19 Community Fund.

The Freemasons’ COVID-19 Community Fund will help to support a range of local and national charities. Also, Freemasons support projects that are helping people through the current coronavirus pandemic. The MCF will match donations made to the Fund up to a total of £1 million.

We’re absolutely delighted to announce that £1 million has now been donated to the Freemasons’ COVID-19 Community Fund. This becomes £2 million with the MCF’s matched funding. Thank you to everyone that donated!
