Leicestershire Freemasons recently visited the team at Voluntary Action South Leicestershire (VASL) in Market Harborough to present a generous grant of £60,000. This funding will support 48 carers and individuals living with dementia through VASL’s Carers Dementia Guardians (CGD) project. The CGD project provides weekly support sessions along with advice, advocacy, and key work support.

The East Midlands Immediate Care Scheme (EMICS), a charity supporting volunteer emergency doctors, has received a significant donation from local Freemasons. Freemasons from Leicestershire and Rutland contributed £18,000, which, combined with donations from Freemasons in Nottinghamshire, Northamptonshire, and Huntingdonshire, has enabled EMICS to acquire a brand-new car. This vehicle will be used by volunteer doctors

Paul Cramphorn, the Charity Steward of Tudor House Lodge No. 8481, continues to lead by example. Paul has dedicated his efforts to building meaningful partnerships between his Lodge and several community projects and charities, including the Bodie Hodges Foundation and the Samworth Foundation, where he has contributed to initiatives such as school holiday food pantries.
